I'm a technology geek, drummer, photographer and a husband-to-be. My favourite places in the world are New Zealand and New York and I'm still yet to find a challenge that can't be overcome with Spotify and cake.
About Me
I'm a creative problem solver, who loves to learn. My passions are developing people, writing code and flying aeroplanes. I am at my best when I am given the freedom to be creative. Facilitation and communication are my natural talents.
I value a decent work-life balance. In my spare time, you'll find me taking photos of things I love, watching or playing sport, taking trips to foreign lands and sometimes coding for fun. All of these things will be accompanied by music.

I design and develop secure and robust services which underpin the day to day running of the bank. I started this role with no prior experience - 18 months on and I am the lead developer in a bank-wide, agile change programme. Making the choice to become a certified scrum master was a positive step, allowing me to help people around me transition into an agile working environment.
Development Trainer
Adapting to in-house styles whilst adopting new technologies was my main responsibility within a team operating out of multiple sites. Training and learning from colleagues at all levels was key to my success as it allowed me to communicate with a wide audience in a tailored way. I utilised my spare time to design and create a tool which saved the business £3m over 4 years, until a more permanent, strategic solution was sourced. I made enough impact across the business to be a finalist for colleague of the year 2014.
Insurance Customer Service
Joining Tesco Bank and helping shape their business from the day they opened their doors has given me a decent platform to understand how quickly a business can change. As a customer facing colleague, I was tasked with opening new accounts, servicing active accounts and retaining those who wanted to leave. I discovered my ability to train others whilst helping new joiners understand their role, my efforts recognised with being a finalist for colleague of the year 2013.
